Year of the Dog! Woof!
Happy New Year everyone - today was the first day of the lunar year and it's the year of the dog. So - what does that mean? Dogs are trustworthy and loyal and make heck of a lot of noise when strangers are around. :) We have a neighbour's dog called "Happy" who, after about 3 years, still doesn't recognise us and barks his head off. Anyway, it's gonna be a barking good year, hopefully. Based on the mood of things - I think we're looking good.
Here is a picture of our dinner spread last night during our reunion - it was prepared by Mummy, Bihye, Celest and Isti and maybe Daddy and Fred too - to be honest, I didn't help cos I was sleeping (dead tired). So, a big thank you! It wasa great meal - Grand-mama, Aunty Pauline, Uncle Paul and Xixi joined us too. The idea of having reunions are starting to strike home these days - the family feeds together, weeds together (in the garden), whatever that means.
