Standing Shannon

Dad propped her up against the sofa back and got her to stand on her own - of course she was leaning against the cushion, but I guess that's a start of things to come. Imagine, chasing 2 kids around.

Good thing I had my phone with me as I came down the stairs and saw her standing - so I snapped these 2 quick pictures of her.

It's actually quite bizarre seeing Shannon stand. She's always been that small little girl, helpless in her position and immobile. Of course, she's been turning round and round these days and can more or less flip over at will. But standing? That's something totally new!!

The second picture looks especially "cool" with Shanny standing totally relaxed and cool like "Hey whazzup Dad! I'm just chillin' here ...".
