Yesterday, on our National Day holiday, Fred helped us to clean-up our very dirty and clogged up air-conditioner. I bought this spray the day before and sprayed it on the unit the day before, but he had a look and said that the fan was completely choked too, which was why not much air was coming out. Fred previously worked in a building maintenance company and is familiar with this type of stuff - he also does a lot of other mechanical stuff like flying helicopters in the attic, so this is his thing.

So, yesterday, he opened up the AC and started brushing away all the dirt. There was LOTS and LOTS of dirt everywhere (on he floor, some on the bed, and a lot on his arm). The vacuum cleaner was positioned with the pipe right underneath to catch all the falling soot but a lot of it was
uncatchable.
Anyway, finally we got it all cleaned up and the aircon is working great now. Previously, we set it at 23/24 and were (including Shannon) still sweating at night. Last night, we set it at 26/27 and had to snuggle under the blanket. What a difference it's made! Thanks Fred!!
