Aunty Carol visiting
Aunty Carol visited us this evening to visit the new (yet to be named) baby - her new grand-nephew. She "ta-pao-ed" her own dinner and sat down to dinner with us. Since she's vegetarian, she only ate her own salad and couldn't eat any sotong or other stuff - given that it was Friday, we didn't have any meat anyway.
After dinner, Nigel showed off his jig saw puzzle skills by finishing his Noah's Ark puzzle within 5 minutes, with minimal help. The only thing that slowed him down was distractions like the TV, Gong Gong walking in and out of the gate and so on. He's so easily distracted by the simplest of things and then off he goes - completely dropping whatever he was originally doing.
But he's always willing to show of his puzzle skills - gunning for the big round of applause at the end.
Aunty Carol hung around for a bit - basically trying to capture "an evening in the life of Nigel".
We're still getting used to having another baby in the house - and I'm trying to get used to Fred being a father. For example, he was still flying his helicopter in the attic last night before Dad shouted at him for making so much noise - so much for being a grown up and responsible father. Hahahahaha ...
