Nigel spins and Shannon turns
Today, Nigel finally learnt how to spin his snail tops and Shannon did her first flip over by herself.
Apparently Nigel was sitting on the potty in the morning (in the sitting room) and Sarti was watching over him. She managed to show him how to spin the snail tops (probably after being tired of spinning it constantly for him). When I got back, he kept shouting "Nigel can spin! Nigel can spin!" and he showed me a couple of moves. Impressive! Personally, I think he's spinning it the wrong direction (counter-clockwise), but nevermind - as long as it spins - and it's a decent 10 seconds at least. I'll teach him to spin clockwise soon.
Shannon has been "threatening" to flip for a while now, according to Celest. Celest has been showing her how to do it by pushing her over to her side. But today she finally did it, and this while Celest was talking to me on the phone in the afternoon! Looks like the Shannon party will soon be starting!!
Oh yeah - Mum and Dad are away again - in Mongolia this time. Have fun and return home safely!
