3 days of fun
We had a very tiring Sunday, Monday and Tuesday - mainly because of Pak Shuang's birthday party and me being on leave.
Sunday - it's Pak Shuang (Leonard's cousin's son) 5th birthday and his parents booked a small ballroom in the Regent hotel. There was a 1 balloon guy, 1 magician, 40 screaming kids and 80 stressed out parents. The food was good too. Nigel enjoyed himself jumping around with the other kids - although he wasn't too interested in the magic show. He spent a lot of time putting the letters back into the ABC mat on the floor though.
Monday - We brought the kids to Downtown East in the afternoon for a walk around. There's a fun indoor playground there where we unleashed Nigel ($7 an hour - not including socks). He ran around like crazy, crawling through the tubes (2 levels) and we got more tired than he did. The older kids were quite rough so we had to make sure he didn't get knocked down or rolled over by the giant ball.
Tuesday - Out to Marina Square in the afternoon for the Sesame Street show. However, we missed it (it was 1pm and we got there around 1.45) - nevermind, we'll try again on Saturday. At night, we went to a durian party held at a colleague's house - we were late too and ended up eating our own durians. Nigel suddenly became very shy - although Shannon was friendly and smiled at everyone. What a tiring day - everyone slept well that night, just like the previous two.
