Nigel and the Magic Door
I recently bought one of those foam buffers you can fix to a door to prevent it from closing. It's meant to stop kids from slamming the door and getting their fingers jammed.
Funny thing that happens in the morning is Nigel comes in our room and tries to slam the door behind him - the first few times he doesn't realise why the door cannot close (I fix the buffer high up so it's way out of his reach) and he's going around trying to figure out why oh why the door can't close. He's got this complete baffled look on his cute little face. The first day he thought it was the tail of his stuffed toy (which is situated close but not quite close to the door) - so he goes over to the dog and pushed it away and tries to close again in vain. Celest was laughing away - and mind you, this is like 7+ in the morning and everyone's half awake.
This morning he did it again but he remembered pretty quickly - Celest told him. When I asked him why it couldn't close - he pointed up to the white buffer and mumbled something.
